headcrash
An irrevent humour is twisted through this oh-so cyberpunk tale. It's a little odd, and the Infonuggets are a cute idea*. Anyone who has ever worked tech support will get a kick out of this book's protagonist - a laid-off tech guy. He reels from one insane situation to the next, trying to keep a grip on his increasingly virtual reality (or perhaps that should be increasing real virtuality...). But what can you do when your interface includes the dreaded ProctoPod(tm)? It seems that in virtual reality, anything is possible... and some of it is real.
A good book, so long as you can tolerate the ending. Bruce, what the hell were you thinking??
NB: IGNORE THE BLURB. Just read the book.
* Go read it and you'll know, eh?
